About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda, and I'm currently a college student pursuing a degree in Biology on the pre-med track. My ultimate goal is to become a pediatrician because I've always had a strong passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. I have hands-on experience from a previous summer job as a tutor at East Lake Elementary School, where I worked closely with 1st graders. That experience helped me develop patience, creativity, and strong communication skills, qualities I believe are essential when caring for children. It also reinforced how much I enjoy helping young kids learn, grow, and feel supported. Babysitting gives me the opportunity to combine my love for children with my academic path. I truly enjoy creating fun, safe, and nurturing environments where kids can feel happy and engaged. Whether it's reading or doing crafts, I aim to be a dependable and caring presence for your family.
