About Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda, and I am a caring and dependable helper with experience supporting daily living needs for my grandma. I lovingly cared for my grandma throughout the past five years and through that act I realized the beauty in caring for the elderly. I enjoyed preparing meals and sitting down to join her. I learned, long ago when my grandma was at the hospital, the value in having company and conversation while eating. It is such a simple addition to a person's day but a very valuable addition that can make all the difference in a positive way. In addition, I have experience with gentle medication reminders for my grandma and students as a Substitute Teacher. Furthermore, I am a safe driver with a clean driving record. I would be more than happy to assist with arriving to appointments and taking care of errands. My goal is to provide reliable support while creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment.
