Hi! My name is Amanda and I am 34 years old. I began babysitting in my teens & went on to work for a YMCA, holding the positions of Counselor, Art Instructor & eventually Assistant Camp Director. I then went on to Nanny and have since nannied full time for 5 families over the course of a decade. Currently I am looking to connect with a couple of families that I can do regular date night babysitting for as I work towards my nursing degree at BRCC. I am familiar w/bottle feeding both breastfed and formula fed babies, transitioning from bottle to food, different types of sleep choices (co-sleep, sleep train, baby led, etc.) potty training, meal preparation, bathing and bedtime routines. As well as fun activities like reading, imaginary play, arts and crafts, sports, learning activities, and monitoring and managing appropriate screen times.

Amanda was absolutely amazing as our daughter’s nanny. We couldn’t have imagined a better person to take care of our daughter. Amanda took care of L from the age of 5 months for more two and a half years. We only stopped as we moved away during the pandemic. She was caring, creative, full of energy, and thoughtful with our daughter. They went to the park, read books, played with toys and explored the neighborhood. She cared for L like a parent, was responsible, had suggestions she would gently bring to us, and was basically a great partner in raising a child. We know she had a very positive influence on L and miss her greatly!
