About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, a school counselor with experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I also worked as an early childhood mental health specialist, supporting young children and families with emotional development, routines, and transitions. I've previously worked as a para and have extensive experience with toddlers and young kids. I bring a warm, nurturing presence and love helping children grow through play, structure, and connection. I have my own reliable transportation and am very comfortable with pets. In August, I return to my role as a high school counselor in Aurora, but I finish work at 3:30 p.m. , giving me plenty of time for school pickups and after-school care. I'm available weekdays from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and have open availability on weekends. I'm excited to support a family who values communication, consistency, and care!
