About Amanda

Hi there! I'm a nonprofit professional based in Jersey City with a big heart for both pets and people. I've been around dogs and cats my whole life and became a dedicated foster parent (and proud foster fail!) during the pandemic. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I treat every pet like family. I'm also experienced and comfortable working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Having grown up in a family with disabilities, I deeply value getting to know each individual and tailoring my support to their unique needs and personality. Outside of caretaking, I'm a book lover who runs a monthly book club for 20-somethings looking to connect over great reads. I also enjoy live music, concerts, and getting creative-collaging is my go-to craft.
