About Amanda

I have 8 years of recent prior experience as a resident assistant at an assisted living home for the elderly. I have experience bathing/dressing, medicine reminders and observation, cooking, and cleaning. I have experience and knowledge of oxygen tanks and some health ailments. I have taken care of many residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I was CPR certified, had Food Safety and Sanitation certificate but has since expired due to wanting other job experience. My favorite part of helping to care for a person was the one on one time I got to spend with them. I like to talk to people but I'm also a good listener. I love hearing stories and life experiences that the elderly have to share. I smile a lot and I like to laugh. I'm an animal lover. I truly enjoy life.
