About Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda P and I am 22 years old, born and raised here in Eugene/Springfield. I have been babysitting for multiple years, and have worked as a nanny full time nanny for two families, whom I still share a close connection with. I have also served two summers at a summer camp, counseling kids ages 8-18. I have had some really easy kids that I've cared for, and have had some really tough ones that I've learned a lot from. A little bit more about me: I love to garden, and to cook homemade fresh meals. I enjoy going on walks/runs on trails and I highly value outdoor time, rain or shine. I would consider myself a very neat and tidy person. Why I love nannying specifically: I love working with kids. No other job has brought me as much joy and laughter! I am a very empathetic person, and feel that caregiving is in my nature. I love to let loose and have fun with the kids as well, I feel so much better when I'm staying active.
