About Amanda

I love kids, and kids tend to naturally gravitate towards me. I've been babysitting since I was age 11, and have experience with premature babies to youth all the way through high school. I have experience running and managing 3 drop in child care centers at the YMCA, caring for children ages 6 weeks to 16 years. I have extensive experience working with infants and toddlers, and school-age kids, as well as 21 units in Child Development from Mira Costa Community College. Also in the past I've been a counselor for elementary aged camps in Julian, Ca. I am knowledgeable about children's development, and different learning and play stages of infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I love playing games, doing arts and crafts and getting creative, and I am great with homework help and projects. I'm also an artist and paint from my home in Vista. For the past year+ I've been working with a family in Encinitas, driving their two teens to activities.
