About Amanda

Hi, my name is Amanda! I am a student at UT Austin studying Human Development and Family Sciences on a pre-med track, and I'm passionate about working with children. I have over two years of experience caring for kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers, including my time at Hyde Park Preschool and volunteering at my church with elementary and middle school students. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I enjoy planning outdoor activities, educational games, and age appropriate tech based play. I prioritize clear communication and provide updates based on each family's preferences. I am comfortable caring for up to three children. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, am comfortable with pets, and I'm learning conversational ASL as a hobby and to support my future career as a doctor.
