About Amanda

Fostering children's growth and development has been my lifelong passion for the past 20 plus years. My extensive experience caring for up to four children, ranging from infants to pre-teens, as well as being a mother to three of my own children, is supported by focused coursework in child development and a masters in Social Work with an emphasis on working with and counseling children and families. I am a patient, caring, creative, and approachable caregiver, who thrives on engaging children through educational games, collaborative crafts and outdoor adventures. I am fully comfortable enforcing your household rules and am happy to assist with meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping.
