About Amanda

I am a vet technician student at Escuela Vocacional Agrícola de Bucarabones, focusing on animal health, and previously studied for three years at Universidad Ana G. Méndez in Gurabo. I have always had a deep love for animals, growing up helping my grandfather on his farm and caring for family pets during vacations or emergencies. I currently have two rescue dogs and care for college farm animals, applying my veterinary knowledge in real-life situations. I completed my community hours at a veterinary clinic in Bayamón and will soon begin weekly practice at a clinic in Condado. My experience combines hands-on care, formal training, and a lifelong passion for the well-being of animals.
