I like working with kids because they have such big imaginations. I am a fourth year at SDSU majoring in Theatre performance, which is essentially just playing pretend. I love being able to make up new worlds with kids and see what crazy ideas they can bring to life. I started working with kids in ninth grade by babysitting around my neighborhood for families with infants to 11 years old. After I graduated high school I starting working as a camp counselor at Life Time Fitness and continued to do so for the next three summers (until fully moving to San Diego. One thing you should know about me is I love coming up with fun games for kids to enjoy or even be shown new games kids know that I've never heard of. It keeps things exciting and helps kids explore their own creative outlet that can adapt to what they really enjoy.

Amanda started with us when she was 16 for evenings/date nights etc. I had two boys under 2 at this time and could not have asked for a more responsible, kind, smart babysitter. She always had the boys happy, safe and clean. She was able to put them to sleep with no problems and was able to connect with them and have fun, and also being the responsible adult in the home while we were out. We were very sad when she went to college (and then we moved away too) because I could not find any replacement for her. We still keep in touch, and my boys still talk about her :)
