About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, giving and sensitive. I like working with kids because they help keep my creativity going, my smarts in check, and it gives me great pleasure to help children grow. I love informing the children about water safety, sea creatures, hydration and skin protection. In my spare time, I like to exercise including swimming, cycling and running. I've completed a 50 miler race, recently my first Half IronMan, and on June 13th, I'll be Swimming Around Key West which is a 12. 5 mile open water swim around the entire island. One thing you should know about me is I thrive off of creativity. When I'm able to get the crafts going with a child, it lets me teach them everything I know. I'm certified through the Red Cross in CPR, First Aid, and lifeguarding. I'm also registered as a USLA.
