About Amanda

Hi! My name is Amanda and I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Science this past May. I am passionate about child development and plan to pursue my master's in social work. I am currently working remotely as a behavior intervention specialist at the Arc of Monroe, but am looking for a part time nanny job. I've worked in daycares and nannied for wonderful families with children ranging from 3 months to 10 years old. I was a teaching assistant at the Boston Outdoor Preschool Network, a nature-based education program, where I worked one-on-one with a nonverbal autistic child. I supported emotional development using sensory-based communication and individualized ABA techniques. I am energetic, patient, and compassionate, and love coming up with engaging and creative activities! I am excited to connect and support a great family!
