Hello, My name is Amanda. I enjoy caring for Seniors and have experience with Alzheimer's and dementia. I can assist with all ADLs (total care), meal prep and feeding, light housekeeping, and overall companionship. I am available for weekends and some evenings from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. A little more about me; I have worked in long-term care centers and found myself drawn to Seniors, especially those with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. I tend to be on the quiet side, and this allows me to be more observant of my client's needs and any changes in health status. This is not to say I do not interact with them, as I very much do. Also, due to being employed in the healthcare industry, I have had State and Federal background checks, as well as state checks on the Ohio abuse registry.

Previously my mom wouldn’t accept help, but she has grown comfortable with Amanda. Instead of doing the task quickly just to get it done, Amanda takes the time to listen to how my mom wants it done. She is a wonderful companion!
