I currently am changing the area of nursing I was working in due to personal preference. I have been working as a RN hospice case manager for the past year and am currently interviewing for hospital/acute care settings, as this is the area I have most experience. I am 29 years old and have been a nurse since I was 21. Before that I worked as a candy striper at the hospital and a CNA for two years. I have worked in pediatrics in the hospital and the home setting, some in which were sick on ventilators. I love babies and am looking to babysit between now and finding a permanent job as a nurse with a full time schedule. I am early in the process and even when given an offer it takes some time to actually begin. Although I can't commit to a permanent situation, I am available 24/7 for right now and would give notice when that changes.
