About Amanda

I have nannied for the past 10 years, predominately infants and toddlers, I'm keen to a structured and yet fun schedule. In the last 3 years I have cared for families with two kids. In 2019, twin toddler girls, 2020, twin infants, and a nanny share for two infants. Most recently, I've begun tutoring elementary, middle, and high school social studies/American history. I have a BA in History and currently working on my Masters in Secondary Education. I've begun tutoring students in my neighborhood whose schools have less time to assess one-on-one and I've come to experience that a few need help in creative ways to comprehend, and articulate back the content. I am up to date with modern teaching techniques, keep parent expectations and needs in mind, respectful, punctual, clean, and most importantly.. I treat each child with the utmost compassion.
