My name is Amanda & I am a sophomore at Misericordia University in a 5 year Masters Program for Occupational Therapy. I love working with children with special needs and believe it to be a very meaningful part of my life. I have extensive experience being a companion and caregiver for a young boy with autism, as well as two young twins with Down Syndrome. Additionally I have volunteered at many programs that work with people with special needs. I really value my experiences, as I often find these kids have helped and taught me just as much as I help care for them.
