I have been a teaching assistant with special education for K-6 for the past two years. I have provided services for children with down syndrome, on the autism spectrum, learning disabilities, oppositional defiancy disorder, and ADD/ADHD. I love all of the children I have worked with and feel very comfortable and knowledgeable about helping these children whether it's just watching them while their parents are away or tutoring them throughout the summer. I have many references from coworkers that would recommend me to work with any child with an exceptionality. I believe all kids need love, care and structure. I love my teaching job and would love to work with your children as well!
