About Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda! I have always grown up caring for kids. I come from a very big family and have always been heavily involved in childcare from a young age. I absolutely love spending time with children, I believe it's important to be so present with them and actively engaged- we have so much we can learn from their curiosity and wonder! (: I started babysitting when I was a little girl and have always loved spending time and building relationships with my kiddos I cared for! I spent 10+ years doing so as my main job. My heart comes to life when I'm working with kids. I even have experience with special needs kids as I have grown up in a family who adopted 7 kids with disabilities. My husband and I just moved to Washington with our baby girl. I am looking for a job where she could come along with me! (When we lived in Michigan I brought her along to my jobs (I was split between multiple families) who had 4 children and she does absolutely amazing.
