About Amanda

Hello! I'm Amanda and I have over 10 years of Montessori childcare experience. I have a full time career as an Account Manager for a technical services firm and a Master's Degree. I taught school for many years before going into my new career path, and now miss being around kids. I am looking to help out on date nights a few times a month or on random weeknights on an ad hoc basis. I only need a 24-48hr notice. I love to enjoy nature and finding inner peace with the children, as well as help them to express their creativity through numerous outlets including reading, writing, artwork, emotional exploration, critical thinking, and physical well being. I am highly qualified in meal preparation (incl. gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, ethnic) and thoroughly enjoy maintaining a clean and healthy household, together helping the children appreciate the care of their environment! I love animals and have my own transportation. I look forward to working with you!
