About Amanda

Hi there! My name is Amanda. I am a UCSB graduate. In 2018, I completed dual degrees in English and Theater, and graduated with high honors and distinction in my major. After graduation, I traveled to Cordoba, Spain to study Spanish. In 2020, I moved to southern Mexico to teach English to second and third-graders. I have been nannying for over 15 years, and have experience with everything from infants to teenagers. I have worked and/or volunteered in nearly every field of childcare and education. I've taught music lessons, coached basketball teams, worked summer camps, tutored in nearly all academic subjects, and also ran my own classroom in a traditional school setting. I am near-fluent in Spanish. I have lived and worked in many places, including CA, OR, Mexico, Spain, Albania, and New York City, but I am a California native and am happy to be back! I am a very active person: I love swimming and sports and just playing outside. I would love to help you and have fun with your kids!
