About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as kind, caring and patient. I love working with kids. I have several cousins, nieces and nephews that I grew up babysitting and nannying. I'm looking for a job that have steady work hours and a positive work environment. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old. I started babysitting neighborhood kids and family members. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, garden, travel, go boating, hiking, and exercise. One thing you should know about me is I have have years of experience watching kids. I taught life skills at a school for students with intellectual disabilities (Riverview School) for 2 1/2 years. My skills include multi-tasking, making sure the house is clean and creating a fun and safe environment for the kids.
