My mom tells me that it was very early on in life that she knew I had a special, caring, empathetic heart. This has been evident in the ways I have cared for others throughout my life, starting when I was still a child. My first babysitting gig was when I was just 10 years old. Since then, my experience is vast, covering ages 0-90+, including children of normal development, special needs, and many backgrounds. My experience includes babysitter, daycare center, sunday school teacher, camp counselor, regular ed teacher, special ed (elementary, middle and high school) special ed tutor, nanny (including twins), coach, in-home daycare provider, nursing home volunteer, care for aging grandmother, and mother. It is evident that I have an abundance of experience working with people of all ages and backgrouds. My empathy, love, sense of humor, kindness, thoughtfulness, and joy for life are great qualities for a caregiver to have, and I look forward to seeing how I might be the right fit for you
