I have been teaching for the past 21 years for a public school district. 14 years in special education, 5 years Prek, 1 kindergarten, and this year 2nd, ... I have my bachelors and masters in Early Childhood Special Education. I have a various experiences working with children that have special needs including autism, developmental delays, speech impairments, language delays, limited motor skills, sensory concerns, cerebral palsy, ADHD, etc. I am also a 27 year type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor with plenty of personal experience with diabetes and testing blood sugars. I have experience with pulse oxygen monitors, gtube feedings, suction machines, cough assist machine, vibration vests etc. I'm a quick learner with new machines/devices and passionate about caring for children with special needs.
