I would love to meet your pets! I have experience looking after dogs, cats, fish, chickens, and small animals (rabbits, hamsters, hedgehogs, etc.). I am available for overnight in-home care, daily checks, and dog walks. I have several references available upon request. I have a thorough background check through my volunteer work as well as the Sarasota County school district. I am a safe driver and a non-smoker. (I cannot work in smoking homes.) I am also available to chaperone your pet at weddings and other special events! I am a Certified Companion Animal End of Life Doula (trained through the University of Vermont) who can support you and your family navigate the loss of your beloved pet.

Amanda has cared for both my kids and my dog! She has stayed at our home for up to 10 nights with our elderly/needy French bulldog and always taken excellent care of him. Amanda also watches my two children (ages 10 and 3) and they adore her. She's fun and kind, but doesn't let them get away with bad behavior. I 100% recommend Amanda as a responsible pet sitter, child care provider, or even just house sitter. She's honest and dependable and really cares for the kids or critters she watches.
