Since I was a child, I loved taking care of children, and at age 11, I became a mother helper. I've progressed from babysitting family friends to becoming a full time nanny for other families. I have experience and am comfortable working with newborn babies to 13-year-old children, 4 at a time. I've worked at a daycare which acquainted me with classroom settings and I am CPR certified. I also have an Associates degree in education. My previous job was a homeschool/nanny position. To help their oldest get ready for Pre-K, I would make a monthly, age appropriate curriculum, with weekly goals. This would be accomplished by performing educational activities and crafts. Even though we just met, Amanda feels like part of the family. My children remembered her after just meeting her one time and now ask for her when she's not in the house and they're only 2.5 yrs old.
