About Amanda

Hi, I'm Amanda! I have worked with children since I was 15 years old, when I began as a teacher's assistant at my mom's school. Since then, I have continued working with children through tutoring, childcare, and nannying, building years of hands-on experience supporting kids in both educational and everyday settings. I am a graduate in Art and specialize in tutoring students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. I provide support in all core subjects, including math, reading, writing, science, and homework help, while adapting lessons to each child's individual learning style and needs. In addition to academic tutoring, I offer engaging art and sensory classes that encourage creativity, confidence, problem-solving, and self-expression. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where children feel comfortable learning, growing, and having fun.
