About Amanda

Hello, I have experience with children. My mother ran a day care for most of my childhood. I raised my two children who are grown now on the goat farms that I owned. I have always loved to teach children about animals, gardening, sewing, and everyday joys life can bring. I enjoy children of all ages. I especially enjoy babies but all ages bring me happiness to care for. Some of my hobbies are painting, birdwatching, visiting art museums, and reading. My children did several years of virtual schooling so I am very familiar with the ins and outs of homeschooling. I would say my best attributes are patience and understanding. I have an associates degree in nursing, I have worked as a CNA/TMA and am certified in adult and infant first aid and CPR. I had been a nanny for the last 3 years in Georgia and have recently moved back to Minnesota. I would love to find a wonderful family to help assist with their family's needs.
