About Amanda

Hi! I'm Amanda, a Boston-based professional with a background in public health and a genuine love for working with children and families. I'm reliable, organized, and bring a warm, nurturing presence to everything I do. I have experience working with young children through my time as a Teacher's Assistant at Sheepscot Valley Children's House in Maine, where I supported a Lead Teacher in the classroom, provided comprehensive developmental care for students. Beyond childcare, I'm a strong communicator and natural multitasker -- skills i've honed throughout my career. I'm comfortable staying organized under pressure, and adapting to the needs of the family. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of New England and have a passion for the wellbeing of others. I'm a former collegiate soccer player, so I love being active with kids in fun, athletic ways too!
