About Amanda

Hello, my name is Amanda, I am a mother, wife and registered nurse. I have 2 children, my daughter 6yo & son 8yo. I will be home with my children this summer and would like to bring another child into our home. I have the baby itch and would love to provide care to an infant/toddler, but I am open to older children as well. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be at home while helping another family know their child is safe, loved and well cared for. I started working with kids when I was 16yo. I taught swim lessons and lifeguarded for 12yrs, I coached soccer to little kids and Nannied full time throughout my college years. In my spare time, I like to cook, hike, garden, ride bikes, all with my family. One thing you should know about me is I am a fantastic mother, and since becoming one I love all children as if they're mine. My skills include I am intuitive, loving and I'm a pediatric trained nurse.
