About Amanda

I'd describe my personality as gentle, curious, & organized. I like working with animals because of the instant connection I share with them. Being amongst animals fulfills my act of service; allowing for a beautiful life and experience! I'm looking for a job that I can help both animals and their owners. I started working at a farm in my hometown: with equine, farm animals, and training dogs/other farm animals for our educational & public animal shows. I have experience handling, training, feeding, and providing medicinal care. I also have been a dog walker at an animal shelter/boarding kennel. In my spare time I like to play tennis, paint, farmer's market, read, & sit at my local coffee shops. One thing you should know about me is that I work in education- having a background in nurturing both animals and children. I was also a collegiate athlete and love to be outside! My skills include having a strong intuition, attention to detail, and leading with patience.
