Hi everyone! My name is Amanda, and I'm 26 years old with over 10 years of childcare experience! I started my childcare journey as a tutor at Kumon. I then spent 2 years as a daycare assistant, where I supervised children during indoor and outdoor activities, maintained a safe learning environment, and planned engaging educational and recreational activities. I've worked as a nanny and babysitter throughout high school and college, and I've cared for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, routine-focused, and creative space where children can grow, learn, and have fun. I'm patient, organized, and kind, and I believe in building strong relationships with both children and parents. I'm CPR and first aid certified and have my own car. We feel so blessed to have found Amanda to take care of our infant as a sitter and part time nanny during the week. As first-time parents, we felt a little anxious about leaving our 4 month old precious girl with someone for the first time, but Amanda put our hearts and minds at ease the minute we saw her interact with our little one, and she sent updates throughout the day which was greatly appreciated! Amanda reads books, practices tummy time, takes walks and is able to get our girl to sleep with ease! She's also bilingual and our little one LOVES when she speaks in Spanish! Amanda is a gem, so warm and kind, always reliable. We adore her and would highly recommend to any family.
