Hello! I am a mom to an amazing 16-year-old daughter, (and three bonus teens as well!). I was blessed to stay home with my daughter until she started Kindergarten. Besides raising my her, I have been babysitting from the age of 13, took several child development classes in high school and worked numerous childcare jobs ranging from day cares to preschools, and summer camps as well. In 2017, I made the choice to transition to a nanny position and I couldn't be happier! I have had the privilege to work with 5 different families in that time and it has been a joy to help raise each and every one of those children. Prior to nannying and motherhood, I also gained medical experience when I worked several years as an EMT with local ambulance companies and as a tech in the Emergency Room. Amanda was a preschool teacher for my daughter M. M is now 14 years old and still to this day, Amanda has a special place in M's heart and to our family. Amanda has a special way with kids. She is patient, loving, and creative. She encourages positive behavior in a fun way and knows how to address negative ones in a way that is to the point and yet gives each kid the understanding that she cares for them. She is punctual, respectful, great at communicating and always has a positive attitude. You and your kids will benefit greatly for having Amanda in your lives!
