About Amanda

I've had the pleasure of knowing Amanda for seven years, all of which she has been a close, trusted friend, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most trustworthy and capable people I've ever had in my home. Amanda has watched my house and dogs multiple times - stays ranging from a few days to a couple of weeks - and she has never once given me a reason to worry. My two dogs, Minnie and Mack, are different ages and one of them can be anxious and reactive, which takes patience and a steady hand. She handles them both with ease, and honestly, they look forward to when she comes. She has a peppy, happy energy with them, and it's a joy to see them with her. What I appreciate most is how naturally she fits into the role. She doesn't need hand-holding - she reaches out when it makes sense, keeps me in the loop if something comes up, and otherwise just handles things. If she needs input, she reaches out, but that's been very little over the years. Every time I've come home, the house has been exactly as I left it, and the dogs have been happy and well cared for. I trust her completely. That's not a phrase use lightly. If she's looking after your home or pets, you're in good hands.
