About Amanda

Hi! I've always loved being around kids and helping families. While I don't have formal childcare training, I have a lot of hands-on experience. I spent four summers in college as a camp counselor planning activities for children ages 5-10, and in high school I was a regular babysitter for three years for a family with four kids (ages 4-9). I also come from a big family and have helped care for my cousins, nieces, and nephews, from infants to teens. Professionally, I've worked as an assistant for several years, which has strengthened my patience, organization, and ability to support others. I'm playful and happy to get on a child's level, but I'm also confident setting boundaries and guiding behavior when needed. Most of all, I truly enjoy being around children and would love to bring that joy into helping your family.
