About Amanda

I've spent most of my life nurturing young minds and supporting families! I hold a bachelor's degree in Education and have both professional and personal experience caring for children ages 0-12 helping children grow and thrive in a safe and engaging environment. Being a former child care teacher, babysitter and mother myself has given me extra insight into the individual needs of children and families! I'm patient, creative, and can tailor activities to each child's interests, whether it's imaginative play, hands-on learning, or outdoor adventures! I follow parents' guidance on rules and communication, providing updates however you prefer. At this point in my life, I am seeking a position that offers more flexibility to be present for my own family while continuing meaningful work with children as I pursue a new path as a post partum doula; supporting families through the early months with compassionate, practical care!
