About Amanda

Hi families! My name is Amanda, I'm 33 years old, and I've been working in childcare on and off for over 15 years! I come from a big family, and assuming a nurturing and fun role definitely stems from those experiences. Though I have worked many full time childcare positions, including as a nanny, babysitter, and even swimming instructor for ages 6mo-12 years, I am here in Tacoma working on my bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy and Biology. I am looking to pick up those odd hour needs and am extremely flexible in terms of what that might look like. I am calm, reliable, and very willing to help out with any pet related, cooking or housekeeping needs that may arise as well.
