About Amanda

Hi! I'm a 33-year-old, para-educator for SpEd for elementary level as well as a summer school teacher for 6-8th grade age. I'm still a PT sitter and nanny during evenings and breaks from the school. Im a San Francisco State University graduate with a BA in psychology, one year studying abroad in London, England. In london, I was an assistant cook at a pub as well an au pair for a family in London till July 2011. From an au pair in London, I continued nannying full-time with toddler twins, to infants and newborns to preteens. In 2014, I started working for a web design and branding company as a copywriter and photographer. I worked with them till the pandemic, when I lost my jobs. I went back to nanny and landed a job as a para for SpEd elementary and within a year, I was offered the teaching SpEd position for middle school just for summer school.
