About Amanda

Hi there, My name is Amanda, and I've been working in childcare for over 12 years. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and have experience as both a teacher and, most recently, a childcare director. While I've truly valued my leadership experience, I'm now looking to return to what I love most--working directly with children and being part of their learning, growth, and day-to-day joy. I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and fun-loving. I'm passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved and supported as they explore and grow. My skills include CPR, the Heimlich maneuver, and a strong foundation in child development and early learning. I'm also a mom of twins who are in elementary school, and I'm hoping to find a long-term family that can become like an extension of my own.
