Great passion working with senior citizens and/or persons with disabilities. They deserve great care & companionship. I have over 15 years of experience in the hospital setting and senior care and/or persons with disabilities w/ transportation, personal hygiene care (including bathing, brushing teeth, facial shaving, hair cuts, washing hair and dressing), meal prep, med management, feedings (full / partial assist) trach care, cough assist and suctioning. I'm knowledgeable when it comes to pressure ulcers. I have done patient transfers from wheelchair to bed and have knowledge of patient lifts (traditional and electric), transportation to doctor's appointments, light housekeeping, errands and shopping. I have also worked with persons of all ages from Cancer, Dementia, Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Parkinson's, Alzheimer's disease and hospice care. Caring & compassion is the most important thing when it comes to caring for someone who can't care for themselves.
