I'd describe my personality as dedicated, transparent and supportive. I like tutoring because all children are capable of learning and with tutoring a child is able to get specialized instruction and they're learning language to make that growth. I'm looking for a job that has flexible hours, a communicative relationship and a mindset that learning is possible. I started tutoring when I was a college student. I was working as a teacher assistant, and noticed many children were missing the lessons. Since children were not grasping the lessons, a lot of them started getting testing anxiety. I started offering additional support and noticed the shift in the class. That's when I decided to be a tutor outside of my teaching assistant position because if I can just help one student feel better and they're learning journey then that's what makes me happy. My skills include - communication and learning the students learning methods - patience and empathy - adaptability
