Hi! My name is Amanda, and I am a certified elementary and special education teacher with a strong background in working with children of all ages. I currently teach 4th grade in Colchester Public Schools and have additional experience as a long-term substitute teacher, as well as in early childhood care and instruction through my work in a daycare setting with children from infancy through age five. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Rhode Island, along with Connecticut teaching certifications in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Early Childhood, as well as CPR and First Aid certification. I bring a calm, patient, and flexible approach to childcare, with a strong focus on communication, safety, and meeting each child's individual needs.
