About Amanda

I am currently attending the University of Rhode Island studying special education. I have had the awesome opportunity to work one on one with Special needs students in classroom settings teaching them carries skills and knowledge as well as promoting integration of these students into regular classes. In addition I have worked with early aged adults with special needs in a program called next step where I worked with these individuals at different job sites to help them learn and develop both life and work skills. Also, as an education major at school I have had the opportunity to teach preschool aged children in a diverse area where I got to work with all different types of learners. I am currently taking classes on campus, my schedule will be a little different each day but I am flexible and willing to work things out!
