Hello! My name's Amanda. I'm 25 years old and have a masters degree in occupational therapy from the University of New England. I've worked with children, and children with special needs, for the past several years. My most recent nannying was for a sweet 2-year-old girl while I was in graduate school. Before that I completed a 12 week clinical rotation at a pediatric clinic and preschool working with children of various diagnoses. I feel very comfortable with children, and am more than happy to assist with light housework, driving to and from activities, and meal preparation.

Amanda assisted my son (2nd grade) with distance learning and home learning. She was very patient, kind, and professional, and she was very good with my son, who can be difficult at times, particularly when it comes to school. Her education/professional background (in occupational therapy) gives her a good perspective on special needs (in my son's case, ADHD) and the behavioral challenges can come along with special needs.
