About Amanda

Experience: 15 yrs

I have a range of caring for children experience from babysitting to summer camps. I started babysitting when I was in high school for many different families, I worked at summer camps for 14 summers, and I work for Cruise Line as a nursery staff member for the past 6 years. I am passionate about working with children because you never know what they are going to say or do which usually results in smiles and laughing. I love seeing the light bulb moments when children understand a new game or sees something new on a walk.

I feel lucky to have found Amanda. She was professional, kind, attentive and engaged. I was on holiday and needed a babysitter for the night. She arrived early for the booking, and was highly reliable and communicative. She followed instructions perfectly and brought a calm, confident energy to our home that put us at ease. She played with the baby who is only 6 months old, fed her and put her to bed. When we returned home we were given a written report of the night. Highly recommend Amanda!
