I know this might sound cheesy, but, especially have a cousin with autism, I truly believe in focusing on the child's ability rather than their disability. At my last job, along with being a babysitter, I was a tutor, house cleaner, and a big sister :) I love working with kids, every day is a new learning experience. I left my last job when the boys I was watching left for middle school and I was no longer needed.
