About Amanda

I grew up with my mom running a licensed home child care for 23 years and enjoyed helping her all the time. I then started watching children outside of my home around age 13. Even before my son, I have taken care of babies up to 13+ years. I am CPR/First Aid certified infant to adult. After college I moved to the Bay Area and cared for many amazing families including having my own son in 2015. He joins me on adventures these days and has proven to be the perfect match for a family looking for social interactions on a smaller scale than a daycare. Join us in our home for preschool activities and outdoor adventure, including our home garden. Or we will join you at yours for more help around the house! I teach a cross between Waldorf and Montessori learning. I believe it is important for child to play play play, but also learn how to be productive, healthy little people.
