Experience with multiple families, backgrounds, ages, and more than 1 child. I try to be with my families for at least 1 year, some I have been with for more than a year and I always return when needed, even years ahead. Some of the families I have cared for; *nearly 3-year-old twins and their 6-month-old baby brother/12 hr days! *two sweet little sisters, 2 years and 6 months. 10 hr days! *A sweet 6-month-old baby boy. *brothers, 8 years & 12-months. And many more young ones. Ive also cared for 5-10-year-olds where homework help and pickup and drop offs to and from activities were more essential than park visits!! My daughter is now 3 years old and I am looking for some part time hours to supplement income within my home/family. Ideally it would be amazing if she can accompany me in caring for your child but I understand some families may not be comfortable with that. I may be able to arrange care for her. Let's talk!

The primary reason it didn't work out with Amanda was that we hired her for an hourly rate job and after a few months, as her business grew, she wanted a per job rate. Also as her business grew, she wanted to get paid more - naturally, who wouldn't? - but we reached the point where I wasn't interested in paying more. The quality of her work was good, she was pretty efficient, and she was mostly reliable. But ultimately, what she was looking for and what we were looking for were incompatible, so we parted ways with no hard feelings. If she was interested in working for an hourly rate near what we agreed to when we hired her ~6 months ago, we would hire her again.
