About Amanda

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's unique learning style by actively observing how they interact with new material, then adapting my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions--to suit their needs. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps to build momentum and encourage curiosity. I prioritize open communication with families, providing regular updates to ensure we are aligned on your student's progress. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child thrive and discover how capable they truly are.
